Responsibilities & Context
SOS Children’s Village International in Bangladesh (www.sos-bangladesh.org) is a non-governmental social devolvement organisation provides care for the children who have lost parental care or who are at risk of losing parental care and deprived of caring family environment. SOS Children’s Villages works in more than 130 countries and territories around the world. In Bangladesh, we have been working since 1972 and presently has programmes in Dhaka, Rajshahi, Khulna, Chattogram, Bogura, Sylhet and Bagerhat.
Our Programmes contribute to delivering on SDGs with a special focus on our target group to improve national social protection system, fighting inequalities, promoting access to quality education, strengthening youth employability and ending violence against children.
SOS Bangladesh is going to launch a project for economic empowerment of vulnerable youths and community members through the utilization of climate resilient sustainable agricultural projects. Application is invited for the mentioned position:
Key Areas of Responsibilities:
- Implementation of all the activities of FSP (DFE & CFE).
- Organise programme for the children & youth on Life skills, personality development etc.
- Organise livelihood skill training for youths and household members of FSP families.
- Child and youth protection and child rights activities monitoring and reporting of the project.
- Directly monitoring and supervision of FSP Family Development Plan and its execution.
- Input PDB2 data and update FDP and other relevant fields.
- Liasion/public relation and communication with local people, Govt./Non govt. and Institutions.
- Keep close contact with the FSP beneficiaries, partners and others stakeholders.
- Adhere to the guidelines of Child and Youth Safeguarding Policy and Code of Conduct.
- Updating monthly meeting registers and organizing meetings.
- Develop all periodical reports
Location of Job: Family Strengthening Programme, Chattogram
Nature of Job: Contractual for 03 years (Yearly Renewable)
