Responsibilities & Context

BGIFT Institute of Science & Technology (BIST) invites applications for full-time faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor for the following Departments:

AMT (Apparel Manufacture & Technology)

FDT (Fashion Design & Technology)

CSE (Computer Science & Engineering)

TST (Textile Science & Technology)

BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration)

Under those Departments we need Assistant Professor for Textile, Apparel Manufacture, Fashion Design, Economics, Mathematics, English & CSE.

Responsibilities:

To prepare the course outline, course calendar, lesson plan, tutorial and schedule for students and conduct theoretical, tutorial, extension teaching, and related research.
To prepare questions, invigilate tests & exams, marks & grade scripts, and assignments.
To guide and supervise project work, internship, dissertation, or thesis as and when assigned.
To guide and supervise students to perform co-curricular and extracurricular activities.
Attend meetings of the University as and when invited.
Work as “Faculty Representative” at different events and activities of the University when detailed.
Carry out administrative tasks initiated by the teacher himself/herself or assigned by the Department.
To serve on academic and administrative committees that review and recommend policies, make budget decisions, or advise on hiring and promotions within their department.
Perform any other duties as and when assigned by the BIST.
