Responsibilities & Context
Field-Based project implementation & coordination-50%
- Assist in conducting FGD with different stockholders in FDMNs and Host communities.
- Assist in organizing various assessments like PDM, KAP survey, and KII as needed for the project.
- Identify & select appropriate site for shelter, DRR & SD activity implementation at Ukhiya, FDMN camps.
- Maintaining a close working relationship with sectoral counterparts in partner agencies and organizations;
- Communicate effectively with the camp information management officer, site management agencies, and field team to ensure optimum functionality and usability for stakeholders.
- Ability to manage a team to assess regular materials distribution to the FDMN community.
- Ability to facilitate technical assessment of FDMN HHs to address any emergency.
- Conducting regular training for sector/cluster members and working closely with the IM focal points, making sure that the process of data entry is going smoothly;
- Work with the field team, SCCCM, and SMSD teams to produce reports, maps, and charts based on the data.
- Strong ability to create drawing- design & BoQ and management skills (familiarity with software such as AutoCAD, illustrator & Photoshop, MS Access, and Excel).
- Solid knowledge of MS Office software products is required (especially MS PowerPoint and MS Word with presentation making).
- Identifying suitable sites for shelter & WASH activity implementation at Ukhiya Camps.
- Assist in preparing a Right holder list, Muster roll, distribution/handover copy, etc.
- Close communication with Majhi, community leader, SMS, health & wash actors.
- Verify collected various eligible rightsholders lists for distributing NFI & Hygiene kits
- Supervise the Right holder’s identification as per fixed selection criteria and by the methodology fixed by IR.
- Finalize the Right holder by ensuring endorsement and validation from relevant authorities (CICs & UNOs).
- Assist in identifying suitable sites for WASH & Shelter activity implementation.
- Monitoring & controlling of materials quality from suppliers and matching/constructing according to drawing design & BoQ.
- Collect referrals from site management agencies and deliver them to the program team.
- Prepare camp-wise report and provide respective agencies, SMSD, CiC, ISCG, WASH and Shelter sectors and internal communication.
- Conduct a door-to-door sample survey to finalize Right holder.
Stakeholders’ coordination & project implementation management -25%
- Coordinating and networking with key stakeholders, such as SMS, CiCs, Shelter focal agencies, UN AoR Agencies, the community lead, and other agencies.
- Assist in organizing Project inception, project review, and awareness-raising meetings at different levels.
- Ensure NOC after the selection of the scheme with relevant stakeholders.
- Involve project implementation teams in the implementation of the project
- Participate in various personal development training, orientation, and workshops.
- Assist in organizing inception meetings at different levels.
- To Participate in coordination meetings such as Shelter & WASH sector meetings and CiC coordination meetings.
- Organize various working relationship-building orientations and training.
- Linkages with government officials, DPHE, CiCs, CMOs, UN representatives and NGOs.
- Formulation of the project implementation committee.
- Communicate and collaborate with SMSD, CMO, and focal agencies.
- Participate in various personal development training, orientation and workshops.
Project reporting and documentation-15%
- Proper documentation of hardware and software activities according to projects.
- Provide monthly activity reports to CICs, CMO, SMSD, sector and other agencies.
- Collect completion reports according to requirements.
- Provide the necessary documentation to Shelter focal points, agencies, etc.
- Prepare and submit a plan of the weekly activities to the line manager as well as share with CICs:
- Report any problems and constraints encountered during the activities and suggest operational solutions.
- Prepare a situation report on natural hazards and disasters.
- Documentation of goods received notes and delivery notes for various projects.
- Support the procurement of materials like requisition, quotation collection, etc.
Others-10%
- Participate & involved with seasonal programs (Ramadan, Qurbani, Winterization, etc.) activities.
- Take initiatives to ensure the security of project staff and participants during the intervention.
- Willing and able to travel frequently for extended periods and to remote areas of the projects.
- Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation to achieve the program’s goals on safeguarding implementation and as well as Act as a key source of support, guidance, and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
