Requirements
Education
The candidate must have Diploma ( Diploma in Sericulture/ Textile/ Silk Technology will be given preference) with minimum CGPA 2.50 or 2nd class/ division or equivalent result in all academic examinations
Additional Requirements
- Age, Education and Experience will be relaxed for the potential Candidates
- Knowledge on Silk production process, Silk Twisting, Dyeing, Weaving, Fabrics quality, quality control process
- Required skills: Silk Twisting and Silk weaving process, machineries
- Required competencies: Hand loom & Power loom operation and quality control
- Excellent in worker management, work prioritization, time management as well as the ability to adapt to work under pressure and challenging environment
Responsibilities & Context
- Ensure proper repair and maintain of loom and charka
- Confirm the training of Weaving worker and increase their skill
- Ensure the sourcing of raw materials
- Ensure the quality of raw materials such as silk yarn, Endi lachi, cotton/viscos yarn
- Monitor the quality at the time of fabric production
- Ensure billing in due time
- Minimize the quality rejection maintaining proper production procedure
- Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
- Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
- Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so
- Perform any other jobs as assigned by the management
