Requirements

Education

• B.Sc. in Civil Engineering / Water Resource and Sanitation.
• Engineering or Diploma in Civil Engineering with minimum 8 years working experience

Experience

• 3 to 5 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
  NGO, Development Agency

Additional Requirements

• Age 30 to 40 years

• Demonstrated working experience in engineering field in development sector, preferably in development WASH project.
• Ability to speak in Bangla, English, and Cox’s Bazar local language (written/verbal).
• Team management.
• Ability to work under limited supervision.
• Dynamism.
• Good report writing ability.
• Computer skills.
• Capable to design, drawing and estimate Water and Sanitation infrastructures independently.
• Working skills in CAD (AutoCAD 2D/3D or similar) is a must.
• Ability to work under limited supervision – Dynamism

Responsibilities & Context

• Supervision of different WASH infrastructures construction works i.e water distribution networks, production well, latrine, WASH facilities at school and health care facilities.
• Technical supervision and cross checking of construction materials of WASH infrastructure before installation with specifications, drawing, design quality and quantity.
• To maintain up-to-date records of all field level activities to show the status of the work, the status of construction materials, equipment at stores and construction sites.
• Conduct regular monitoring and full technical supervision and provide technical inputs to the beneficiaries.
• Manage construction contract by providing engineering support during project construction and process contract change orders and design revisions.
• Attend various internal and external meetings regarding engineering topics or issues and respond to questions and inquiries from various individuals, groups and organizations.
