Responsibilities & Context

Job Context

The Associate Architect at Abed Holdings Limited (AHL) assists in architectural design development, preparing technical drawings, and ensuring project coordination with engineers and construction teams. The Associate Architect will support client interactions, contribute to design presentations, conduct site visits, and ensure compliance with building codes. The role may also involve implementing sustainable design practices and innovations in real estate projects.

Job Responsibilities

• Extensive/thorough knowledge of project detailing (Must-have requirement).
• Preparing design concepts, plan, and elevation, detailed & working drawing.
• 3D visualization and preparing BOQ & Material specification as per design drawing.
• Preparing architecture RAJUK plans, and specifications.
• Preparing all types of working drawings.
• Having sound knowledge of residential, and commercial buildings and Keeping a record of project properly.
• Preparing presentation/ technical proposal to respective clients for approval.
• Detailing of any layout/ design for proper estimation as well as execution.
• Determining project function and conceptual costing as per management demand.
• Organizing working team for site surveys and giving them directions.
• Monitoring drawing process based on field measurement.
• Distributing work among architects and CAD operators.
• Following up the project execution on a regular basis (visiting worksites to ensure that construction adheres to architectural plans).
• Negotiating and meeting with nominated consulting firms and collecting design.
• Having the capability to work on the design of multiple projects.
• Having the capability to read, understand, and coordinate other related drawings of Structural, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire safety, and HVAC.
• Overseeing project planning, scheduling, and budgeting to ensure cost control and on-time delivery.
• Any other tasks assigned by management.
