Responsibilities & Context
YPSA (Young Power in Social Action) <www.ypsa.org> is an organization for sustainable development working in greater Chattogram division since 1985. YPSA is implementing a project titled SHIKHA: Creating public and private spaces free from gender-based violence, bullying and sexual harassment through strengthening prevention and response mechanisms in Chattogram district in partnership with BRAC. YPSA is inviting application from the experienced professionals with proven track record for the following position for the Project.
Job Title: Associate Field Officer
Job location: Chattogram, Sitakund, Banskhali, Patiya
Duration: 1st March 2025 to 31st December 2028

Job Responsibilities:
- Implement the project activities in the field level as per the project plan.
- Maintain continuous communication with education institutions, local government, like minded NGOs and public representatives in the project area
- Organize project activities including capacity building activities, meeting, workshop, orientations and event at respective areas with different stakeholders
- Conduct safeguarding awareness sessions with students/members of education institutions
- Conduct safeguarding Awareness sessions on the prevention of GBV, bullying, SH and the importance of child safeguarding to parents of selected schools
- Formation of Youth Club for peer leaders and orientation for arranging quarterly extra-curricular activities (debate, drama etc.) on prevention of GBV, bullying, and SH for schools
- Arrange formation meeting with youth clubs and youth volunteers to identify their capacity needs
- Provide training for Youth clubs and youth leaders
- Arrange quarterly extra-curricular activities (debate, drama etc.) on prevention of GBV, bullying, and SH for Schools as per of communications initiative
- Develop event report and preserve all field records.
- Maintain gender-sensitive approach in all stages and maintain safeguarding measures
- Follow up Project activities in the targeted areas.
- Any other task assigned by the Management
