Requirements

• Experience on managing large infrastructure setups in Linux, storage, virtualization, and middleware.
• Strong understanding of computer architecture, operating systems (Windows, Linux, UNIX), and server hardware (RISC/CISC).

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Vendor certifications in UNIX, Linux, Windows, backup, virtualization, and middleware are a plus.
• Customer-centric, self-propelled, and capable of meeting deadlines

BRAC Bank seeks an ambitious, intelligent, purpose-driven, and enthusiastic individual for the following position in its Technology Division:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Administer, operate, and troubleshoot traditional, converged, and hyper-converged infrastructures (Dell, HP, Cisco, Lenovo), including CAN and traditional networks.
• Administer and troubleshoot RISC/CISC environments, including Windows, Linux, and UNIX (AIX, Solaris).
• Manage high availability and clustering (HACMP/Power HA, Pacemaker) and virtualization (LPAR, LDOM, VIOS, VMware, OLKVM, OpenShift, Kubernetes).
• Leverage automation tools (Ansible, Jenkins) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, OCI) for infrastructure automation.
• Oversee storage systems, middleware (WebLogic, WebSphere, JBoss, Tomcat, Glassfish), and infrastructure automation using Ansible, Puppet, Terraform, Jenkins, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, OCI).
• Perform health checks and ensure service capacity and system availability.
• Adhere to ITIL practices and address audit issues promptly.
• Provide 24/7 support for hardware, OS, and backup systems.
• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, patching, and firmware updates.
• Manage vendors and multipurpose hardware/software solutions.
• Proactively ensure infrastructure stability and update documentation, processes, and procedures.
