Additional Requirements
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of hands-on banking experience in any bank or financial institution.
- A clear understanding of the core risk guidelines of the central bank.
- Good knowledge of local banking laws, regulations, and the Negotiable Instruments Act.
- Customer-centric, self-motivated, a team player, and capable of meeting deadlines.

BRAC Bank is currently looking for an ambitious, intelligent, goal-oriented, enthusiastic individual for the following position in its MD’s Office Division: Associate Manager/Manager, Corporate Affairs

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and execute the bank`s corporate affairs strategy to strengthen relationships with regulators, government agencies, policymakers, industry bodies, and strategic stakeholders.
- Serve as the primary liaison with regulatory authorities, including Bangladesh Bank, BSEC, ministries, and other statutory bodies, ensuring effective communication and engagement. Develop and maintain a comprehensive regulatory intelligence framework to ensure proactive identification, assessment, and communication of regulatory risks and opportunities.
- Monitor emerging regulatory, legislative, and policy developments and provide timely strategic insights and recommendations to Management and the Board; oversee all regulatory approvals, licenses, submissions, and correspondence to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and regulatory expectations.
- Establish and maintain strong partnerships with government institutions, development partners, diplomatic missions, industry associations, and other external stakeholders.
- Lead regulatory issue management and coordinate responses to regulatory observations, inspections, queries, and policy consultations.
- Represent the bank in industry forums, regulatory meetings, working groups, and policy dialogue platforms to promote the bank`s interests and reputation.
- Drive strategic initiatives related to digital government integration, public sector collaboration, and national development programs relevant to the banking sector.
- Identify and facilitate business opportunities, strategic partnerships, and revenue-generating initiatives through stakeholder engagement and government relations activities.
- Implement effective governance, tracking, and reporting mechanisms for all corporate affairs activities, regulatory engagements, and stakeholder interactions.
- Collaborate closely with business units, Compliance, Legal, Risk Management, Communications, and other departments to ensure alignment of regulatory and stakeholder matters.
