Requirements

Education

  • Graduation from a reputed UGC-approved university. A degree in Finance, Accounting, Marketing, Management, Economics, or Law is preferred. MBA/ Masters/ Professional degree will be considered as an added advantage.

Additional Requirements

  • 4-10 years of experience in the banking sector or NBFI. (For Associate Manager: minimum of two and for Manager/Senior Manager: minimum of four years of relevant experience in Corporate/Commercial Business/ Credit Risk Management/ Special Asset Management/ Corporate Recovery is required)
  • Understanding of the entire credit lifecycle and Corporate Banking products.
  • Must possess analytical skills and be data-driven in decision-making.
  • Must have strong interpersonal communication skills.
  • Effective written and oral communication in English.
  • Positive, energetic, and adaptive to change.
  • Digital Readiness – Proficient in working on MS Office & Android / Apple Platforms
  • Be Customer-centric, self-propelled, and capable of meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities & Context

BRAC Bank offers a wide array of financial products like savings account, salary account etc. to its customers. The role holder will be the first level of customer interaction who will be responsible for creating new client relationships as well as helping deepen relationships with the existing clients. Relationship Officer/ Senior Relationship Officer, Retail Sales are required to operate in a specific catchment, wherein they can identify new customers for selling the retail products of the bank.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Recovery from non-performing and written-off loans of corporate portfolio.
  • Participate and contribute to recovery activities to achieve the planned target.
  • Call/visit, make necessary communications with borrowers, and keep a record of the same.
  • Regular and rigorous follow-up of corporate default borrowers/guarantors/mortgagors for settlement/negotiation.
  • Maintain files and MIS of borrowers and share them with relevant stakeholders as required (Internal and external auditors/authorities, CAD, legal, finance, ICC, etc.).
  • Prepare memos for rescheduling, take the initiative to execute them, and follow up as per approved terms and conditions.
  • Assist the Head of Department in making action plans per the department, bank, and statutory policies, acts, and guidelines.
  • Ensure legal proceedings are taken promptly and liaise with internal and external stakeholders/lawyers.
  • Follow up on legal steps against the borrowers and take initiatives for advancement.
  • Prepare memos for full and final settlement/partial settlement/collateral release/ release of sponsor/sole name, etc.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the Head of Department occasionally, etc.
