Minimum 05 years experiences in leading a Supply Chain team in a managerial role.

Job incumbent must have experience in furniture industry in supply chain/procurement.

Responsibilities & Context

Responsible for sourcing and purchasing of furniture raw materials or any product from home or abroad, selection of vendors and distribution of finished goods towards customers, under supply chain operations.

To supervise P2P’s furniture supply chain operations ; including purchasing and inventory of raw materials or any other related product, selection of vendors and distribution.

Administering sourcing (followed by RFI & RFQ) for all the products and materials in alignment of sales & marketing plans and to direct the movement, storage and processing of inventory.

To preparing yearly departmental budget and to maintain business center wise cost aiming to profitability and performance for furniture raw materials.

Evaluate past performance data and market condition to forecast market needs and production scheduling, availability of the raw materials and products, financial stability, etc.

To maintain, develop and follow supply chain policies and procedures to support functional infrastructure.

Creating and continuing a sustainable professional relationship at different levels of existing and new suppliers, vendors, freight & forwarding agents, bankers and other agencies; in home and abroad.

Reporting on Supply Chain performance to the CEO & Director by fortnightly.

Maintain Relationship with vendors, carriers, freight forwarders and port authorities to provide competitive shipping solutions.

Strictly follow up and evaluate team performance, to encourage and train team taking higher responsibilities and to perform towards Excellence.

Keeping up liaison with all Regional Govt. Officials, Export-Import officials, Corporate Executives and Businessman for running the business efficiently.

Any other assignment given by top management.
