Requirements

Education

  • Master of Science (MSc) in Agriculture, Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing

Experience

  • 5 to 8 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
    Agro based firms (incl. Agro Processing/Seed/GM)

Additional Requirements

  • Age 30 to 40 years
  •  Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in brand management or marketing within the agro-chemical or related industries.
  •  Strong understanding of the agricultural landscape in Bangladesh and the challenges faced by farmers.
  •  Proven track record of developing successful marketing strategies and campaigns.
  •  Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  •  Proficiency in digital marketing tools and analytics.
  •  Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in managing cross-functional teams and projects.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance in the agrochemical industry.

Responsibilities & Context

Market Research:

  • Conduct thorough market research to identify consumer needs, preferences, and trends within the agro-chemical sector.
  • Analyze competitor activities and market dynamics to inform strategic decisions.

Product Positioning:

  • Define and communicate the unique value proposition of our products to differentiate them from competitors.
  • Collaborate with product development teams to ensure alignment between product offerings and market demands.

Marketing Campaigns:

  • Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, print, and events.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance, making data-driven adjustments to optimize results.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including farmers, distributors, and industry partners.
  • Organize and participate in trade shows, seminars, and workshops to promote brand visibility.

Budget Management:

  • Manage the brand marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources to achieve marketing objectives.
  • Track and report on brand performance metrics and ROI of marketing initiatives.

Team Leadership:

  • Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Provide training and support to sales teams to ensure effective communication of brand messaging.
