Education
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Environmental Science
Experience
- At least 10 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments, Textile, Group of Companies
Responsibilities & Context
- Need to keep up-to-date on the latest government environmental regulations, as well as any new policies instituted by their employers, to ensure that rules continue to be followed
- Oversee environmental compliance for companies.
- Ensure Health & Safety and Environmental policies and procedures to allow continual improvement, reduced risk, safe plant and equipment, safe systems of work and minimal impacts on the environment.
- Ensure supervised employees know and understand the operational hazards, at risk/critical issues and behaviors and take them into account in the planning and execution of activities.
- Communicate expectations and motivate, reinforce and support the right safety behavior.
- Confront plant, equipment, systems, procedures and behavior issues and constructively resolve to prevent injury/ incidents and impacts to the environment.
- Ensure the timely investigation and analysis of Health Safety and Environmental events/incidents and that corrective and preventative actions are implemented.
