Responsibilities & Context
Job Context:The Assistant Manager – Pattern Engineering, Design Lab is responsible for leading the development and optimization of shoe patterns in alignment with the company’s design and production goals. This role involves managing a team of pattern engineers, collaborating with designers and production teams, and ensuring the technical accuracy and quality of patterns used in shoe manufacturing.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop all types of patterns as per Buyer requirement.
- Forecasting Consumption, Costing of product, sample QC.
- Prepare the development pattern for different styles of Footwear by using Shoe Master Software·
- Involvement with sole mold making, provide sole mold pattern, sole mold blueprint checking & mold confirmation.
- Responsible for pattern grading, last confirmation, fitting test.
- Follow-up commercialization, pilot trial & confirmation, shoe board checking, making SOP and handover to production.
- Communicate and work with Italian design team and China sole development team.
