Responsibilities & Context
- Coordinate with internal teams, suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs authorities to facilitate smooth shipments, documentation and customs clearance.
- Stay updated with customs regulations, tariffs and trade agreements ensuring compliance with import and export requirements.
- Classify products according to bonded system codes and prepare and submit customs documentation.
- Adjust and update time to time utility declaration against of bonded facilities.
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, export controls, sanctions and embargoes.
- Analyze and evaluate customs duties, preferential trade agreements and duty drawback programs to optimize import costs.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of transactions, shipments and customs declarations.
- Monitor and control costs related to import activities.
- Provide leadership, guidance and support to the commercial team.
- Manage yarn, dyes, chemicals import operations, ensuring compliance with relevant custom bonded laws, regulations, and trade policies.
- Collaborate with vendors, suppliers and service providers to negotiate contracts, monitor performance and ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Any other tasks assign by management.
