- Proven experience in ERP system deployment, configuration, and maintenance.
- Practical experience in server administration (Linux/Windows).
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git), CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab Cl), and software deployment strategies.
- Proficiency in database management, backup, and recovery.
- Scripting knowledge (e.g., Bash, PowerShell) for automation tasks.
- Task management (e.g. software Jira, Trello)
- Familiarity with containerization and virtualization tools (Docker, VMware, etc.) is a plus.
Responsibilities & Context
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive system administrator to join our IT Software Department. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the design, development, deployment, and implementation of our in-house ERP system. This role involves managing server infrastructure, automating deployment processes, ensuring database integrity, and collaborating closely with software development teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Linux server administration, ERP system deployment, database management, and a solid understanding of DevOps tools and security practices.
ERP Deployment & Support
- Experience in designing systems and managing teams involved in software development on PHP Laravel and Vue.js.
- Manage the infrastructure and system requirements for ERP development and implementation.
- Collaborate with software developers to plan and execute ERP rollouts and updates.
- Monitor system performance and resolve any deployment or operational issues promptly.
Server Management
- Administer and maintain Linux servers used in development, testing, and production environments.
- Ensure high availability, performance, and security of all server infrastructure.
- Implement backup and disaster recovery solutions.
Software Deployment
- Automate and manage software builds, releases, and deployments using CI/CD pipelines.
- Maintain staging and production environments to support rapid and stable software delivery.
Database Management
- Manage, configure, and maintain databases (e.g., MySQL, MSSQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle) to support ERP applications.
- Ensure database security, performance tuning, and regular backups.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues.
Security & Compliance
- Apply security best practices for systems, servers, and networks involved in ERP operations.
- Monitor system logs and proactively address vulnerabilities.
Documentation & Collaboration
- Create and maintain detailed documentation on system configurations, deployment processes, and support procedures.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including developers, QA engineers, and business stakeholders.
