Responsibilities & Context
Job Context:
The Asst. Officer / Officer – Sewing (Sports Shoes) is responsible for overseeing the sewing operations within the production department. This role ensures that all components of sports shoes are sewn together accurately and efficiently, adhering to the design specifications and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial sewing, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a high-paced environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Overall responsible for individual production line for completion of production according to the production plan.
- Execute and supervise the sewing of various components of sports shoes, ensuring adherence to design specifications and production schedules.
- Implement quality control procedures to ensure all sewn products meet the company’s quality standards.
- Work closely with other team members in the sewing section to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of production targets.
- Perform routine maintenance on sewing machines to ensure they are in good working condition and prevent downtime.
- Identify opportunities for improving sewing processes and techniques to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Ensure all sewing activities comply with health and safety regulations.
- Prepare and submit regular reports on sewing performance and production targets.
