Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Civil Engineering

Experience

    • 2 to 5 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Engineering Firms

Additional Requirements

  • Age 25 to 30 years
  • SOFTWARE SKILLS:
  • AutoCAD
  • MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • QA/QC Documentation & Reporting
  • Basic Knowledge of Project Planning Software will be an advantage
  • QUALIFICATION / SKILLS:
  • Strong knowledge of construction technology and site quality control.
  • Good understanding of QA/QC procedures, inspection process and documentation.
  • Knowledge of concrete works, finishing works and structural inspections.
  • Familiarity with project specifications, method statements and quality standards.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to identify site quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Strong reporting and documentation capability.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple inspections.
  • PRIORITY CONDITIONS:
  • Experience in Chinese company/project will be preferred.
  • Experience in Mega Projects or Municipal Engineering Projects will get priority.
  • Experience in industrial, infrastructure or large-scale construction projects preferred.
  • SOFTWARE SKILLS:
  • AutoCAD
  • MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • QA/QC Documentation & Reporting
  • Basic Knowledge of Project Planning Software will be an advantage
  • LANGUAGE:
  • Bengali & English

Responsibilities & Context

  • Responsible for all quality control activities related to civil construction works.
  • Ensure construction activities are performed according to approved drawings,
  • specifications and method statements.
  • Prepare and maintain QA/QC documents, Method Statement, Checklist, RICF (Request for Inspection Check Form), NCR (Non-Conformance Report), ITP (Inspection and Test Plan), Daily quality report.
  • Coordinate with Client, Consultant, Subcontractor and Site Teams regarding quality issues and inspections.
  • Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with project quality standards and procedures.
  • Carry out material inspections and verify material quality according to project specifications.
  • Conduct concrete inspection, slump test, cube test and other related quality tests.
  • Identify defects/non-conformance issues and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
  • Maintain proper documentation for inspection requests, approvals and quality records.
  • Review drawings and coordinate with construction team for quality implementation.
  • Ensure proper execution and finishing quality of all civil works.
  • Support project management in achieving project quality objectives.
  • Maintain all QA/QC procedures, standards and compliance requirements.
  • Other related duties assigned by the line manager.
  • Concrete Works, Structural Works, Pipeline Works, Finishing Works, Material Knowledge.
