Responsibilities & Context
- Plan, organize, and manage the cutting section to ensure smooth operation.
- Ensure fabric consumption, marker efficiency, and fabric utilization.
- Supervise fabric laying, cutting, numbering, bundling, and issuing as per production plan.
- Ensure proper quality control in cutting (shrinkage, shade, grain line, defects, etc.).
- Monitor manpower allocation and machine utilization for maximum efficiency.
- Coordinate with Merchandising, Planning, and Production teams to meet shipment deadlines.
- Maintain accurate records of fabric in/out, consumption, and wastage.
- Train, guide, and motivate cutting team members to achieve targets.
- Implement 5S, safety, and compliance requirements in cutting section.
