Requirements
Education
- A Diploma or Graduate degree with certification in Audiometry.
Experience
- 1 to 2 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Hospital, Diagnostic Centre
Additional Requirements
- Age 20 to 32 years
- Proficiency in using audiometric software and equipment, as well as basic computer skills (MS Office, email).
Responsibilities & Context
1. Hearing Assessment & Testing
- Conduct Tests: Administer pure-tone audiometry (hearing screening), speech audiometry, and impedance tests to determine patients` hearing thresholds.
- Patient Instruction: Explain test procedures to patients, ensuring they understand how to respond to auditory stimuli.
- Ear Impressions: Take earmold impressions for custom hearing aid fittings.
2. Hearing Aid & Device Support
- Fitting & Adjustment: Assist in the selection, fitting, and adjustment of hearing aids as prescribed.
- Troubleshooting: Help patients troubleshoot minor issues with their hearing devices.
- Patient Training: Educate patients and their caregivers on how to use and maintain hearing aids.
3. Equipment & Data Management
- Equipment Maintenance: Set up, monitor, and calibrate audiometers and other auditory equipment.
- Record Keeping: Accurately record test results and maintain patient databases.
- Reporting: Prepare reports and ensure daily/weekly statistics are updated.
4. Clinical & Administrative Support
- Referrals: Triage and refer patients to ENT doctors when necessary.
- Administrative Duties: Assist with logistics related to hearing aids (ordering, stock checks, repairs) and other administrative tasks as assigned by management.
