Requirements
Education
- Masters
- Master’s degree in Accounting, Business Studies or related field.
Experience
- At least 2 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Audit Firms /Tax Consultant, Micro-Credit, NGO
Additional Requirements
- Age At most 40 years
- Must have at least 2 years of experience in the relevant field.
- Candidates with a CA-CC and/or experience as an Auditor in a Credit Program of a PKSF funded subsidiary organization will be given preference.
- Proficient in Information Technology and software packages, including MS Office, Accounting software, MIS.
- Willingness to travel and stay in field locations, as the position requires at least 50% field visits each month.
- Proficient in written and oral communication skills in English and able to maintain good interpersonal relations.
- Strong background and experience in audit methodologies and techniques, with the ability to work well under pressure.
Responsibilities & Context
To extend operation and achieve the organizational goal, FIVDB’s Integrated Financial Services Program (IFSP) is looking for an energetic, positive and presentable multitasking Audit Associated to conduct internal Audit.
The incumbent will conduct internal financial audits by understanding organization objectives, structure, policies, process, internal controls, and external regulations, identifying risk areas; preparing audit scope and objectives; preparing audit programs.
Job Responsibilities:
- To prepare an integrated risk-based annual internal Audit Plan.
- Responsible for conduct operational, compliance and financial audits as per annual internal audit plan.
- Prepare, develop, compile & maintain high quality documentations in audit planning, risk assessment, audit scoping, audit programs, audit procedures, walkthrough interviews, test of controls, substantive testing, audit reporting and follow ups, reflecting the results of excellent execution of a systematic work performance.
- Review and check bills/vouchers/invoices/other audit related books (passbook, collection sheets etc.) and other supporting documents and other relevant documents of assign audit spots.
- Ensure physical verification of inventory items purchased and relevant expenditure.
- Review and check the timely deduction and deposit of VAT and Tax.
- Review the previous audit report and list the recommendations and place to reporting authority.
- Prepare special report on special issue/events as directed by the Management.
- Prepare and share field visit reports with authorized persons of Central Office and Branch offices.
- Any other duties/task assigned by Management.
