Responsibilities & Context
- Must have an ability to weld steel piping using the Purge method.
- Relevant qualification in Stainless Steel Welding, having served an apprenticeship. Should possess a welding coded card.
- Candidates having Overseas Experience in Stainless Steel Welding will get preference.
- To work as stainless steel welder attending to any type of body repair, fabrication of panels
- Maintain Insulated Bulk Milk tanker, fleet by welding, repairing or replacing stainless steel sections.
- Carry out repair of tanker fleet by stainless steel welding.
- Responsible for carrying out the laid down tanker servicing schedule.
- Repair such items on tankers as CIP System, Manway Necks, and Lids, venting system, and all outside cladding.
- Operate safe practices at work and report any dangerous items or unsafe systems immediately to his supervisor.
- Assist in the training of staff as required.
