Ability to conduct root-cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
Strong leadership, team management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities & Context
Role Overview:
The Head of QC is responsible for leading the overall quality control function of PET recycling and resin manufacturing, ensuring raw materials, production processes, and finished products consistently meet defined quality standards, customer specifications, and applicable regulatory requirements.
Lead and oversee the Quality Control function for PET recycling and resin manufacturing operations.
Establish and maintain quality standards for raw materials, recycled flakes, and finished PET resin.
To ensures that all incoming raw materials, in-process materials, and finished rPET products meet strict internal, industrial, and regulatory standards (such as GRS, FDA, EFSA, or ISO regulations for food-contact packaging).
Develop, implement, and maintain the plant’s Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001: 2015 and HACCP standards.
Ensure accurate testing of critical PET properties including Intrinsic Viscosity (IV), moisture content, color.
Monitor and control key product parameters such as IV, moisture, color (Lab values), PVC/Polyolefin contamination, and black spots*.
Develop and implement QC procedures, SOPs, testing methods, and inspection plans.
Ensure timely sampling, laboratory testing, analysis, and release of finished products.
Investigate quality deviations, customer complaints, and non-conformists and ensure effective corrective actions.
Coordinate with Production, Engineering, Procurement, and Sales department to resolve quality-related issues.
Ensure proper calibration, maintenance, and reliability of laboratory equipment and testing instruments.
Maintain accurate quality records, test reports, certificates, and QC documentation.
