Job Summary:
As a Barista at Cafe Amazon, you will be the face of our brand, responsible for creating and serving delicious coffee and other beverages while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our customers. You will work closely with the team to maintain our high standards of quality and service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Beverage Preparation: Brew and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages, including espresso, lattes, cappuccinos, and speciality drinks, following established recipes.
- Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and provide recommendations based on their preferences.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain a thorough understanding of our menu, including seasonal offerings, and be able to explain ingredients and preparation methods to customers.
- Cleanliness and Maintenance: Keep the café area clean and organized, including the workspace, equipment, and seating areas.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively with colleagues to maintain a smooth workflow during peak hours. Assist with training new staff as needed.
- Materials Management: Monitor stock levels and assist in ordering supplies to ensure the café is well-equipped with materials.
- Ensure a positive experience from order to service.
- Adhere to safety & health standards.
- Follow Cafe Amazon’s operational procedure & standards at all time.
