Responsibilities & Context

  • Actively work with General manager, sales team, and project delivery teams to ensure tender submissions are on time and competitive to maximize winning chances.
  • Participate in value engineering exercises through the development of sales proposals and different stages of the project.· Ensure input to and output from the design, finance, and logistics teams is clear and complete.
  • Establish and monitor whether pre-sales design programs are delivered on time for bid submissions.· Meeting company standards pertaining to quantity and quality of work performed on an ongoing basis.
  • Performing all work-related tasks in a manner that is in compliance with all company policies and procedures.
  • Adhering to company policies, procedures, and directives regarding standards of workplace behavior in completing job duties and assignments.
  • Comply with and promote other company and customer policies, guidelines, and procedures.
  • Actively participate in the onboarding, probationary review, and annual performance review processes.
  • Must have bid preparation and scheduling experience in security surveillance and automation products and solutions or enterprise IT products and services, including CCTV cameras, access control systems, alarm systems, home automation, commercial automation, hospitality automation, IP telephony, video conferencing, video wall solutions, audiovisual solutions, fire safety solutions, structured cabling, and building management solutions.
  • Develop bid submission strategy policies that reflect the organization’s goals and processes.
  • Drive the overall company sales strategy for new business and account retention, including year-on-year growth.
  • Direct the bid team in generating proposals that define a clear path to client satisfaction and revenue growth.
  • Lead and coordinate the entire bid management process, including chairing regular sales meetings, reviewing bid invitations, conducting bid/no-bid analysis, and establishing timelines.
  • Develop compelling and persuasive bid content, including executive summaries, value propositions, pricing models, and technical responses.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as sales, operations, and subject matter experts, to gather information and develop bid strategies.
  • Coordinate and facilitate regular bid review meetings, ensuring key stakeholders provide input and address concerns or issues.
  • Work with subcontractors, OEMs, logistics, and pricing teams to develop competitive pricing strategies that align with bid requirements and profitability targets.
  • Coordinate with legal and compliance teams to ensure bid proposals meet all legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and track bid performance metrics, analyzing win/loss data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Conduct post-bid analysis and debrief sessions to identify areas for improvement and implement lessons learned for future bids.
  • Continuously refine and improve bid processes, templates, and best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market insights, and emerging best practices in bid management.
  • Establish internal guidelines for personal data protection based on applicable legislation and ensure customer data is protected.
  • Provide input to the content development team based on customer and industry feedback.
  • Recommend changes in pricing structures in product lines or products.
  • Review sales performance and train the team accordingly for continuous improvement.
  • Promote positive relationships with company internal and external major customers to understand their needs.
