Responsibilities & Context:

Planning and conducting controlled experiments to investigate biological processes.
Interpreting experimental results using statistical methods and other analytical techniques to draw meaningful conclusions.
Accurately receive, label, and analyze various samples, including blood and tissue.
Operating specialized laboratory equipment, including microscopes, centrifuges, and automated analyzers.
Properly organize and store all chemicals, fluids, and compressed gases in compliance with safety guidelines.
Ensuring that laboratory equipment is calibrated and functioning properly and verifying the quality and expiration dates of chemicals and reagents.
Adhering to strict procedures and quality control measures to ensure accurate results and Analyzing data to identify abnormalities or trends.
Conduct laboratory tests following standard procedures, document observations, and interpret the results.
Accurately record all data and results in the required forms, both on paper and electronically.
Strictly adhere to all safety protocols at all times and keep the laboratory environment clean and organized.
