Additional Requirements

Should have minimum 3 years of experience of managing bio-medical equipment in hospitals/healthcare/ laboratories/TB laboratory/public health.

Should have sound knowledge of all kinds of hospital equipment.
Should have experience implementing and monitoring maintenance for corporate hospital equipment.
Excellent communication skills with verbal, written & e-mail.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsible to ensure smooth functionality of biomedical engineering department.
Advise hospital administrators on the planning, acquisition, and use of medical equipment.
Planning & follow up pre-installation requirements for biomedical machines.
Drawing up a periodic maintenance & routine servicing schedule for all equipment.
Install, adjust, maintain, repair, or provide technical support for biomedical equipment.
Advise and assist in the application of instrumentation in clinical & room environments.
Evaluate the safety, efficiency, and effectiveness of biomedical equipment.
Train end user and other personnel on the proper use of equipment.
Work with Technologist, chemists, and medical person to research the engineering aspects of biological systems of humans.
Provide information & communication with other departments for biomedical machines functionality.
Communicating with vendors, the manufacture principal, government officials and other external sources.
Record keeping of daily service reports, under service report & breakdown register.
Follow up requirements parts for biomedical machines & Preventive maintenance.
