  • Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on experience in any sales-oriented responsibilities;
  • Employees on the sales team/Development team of life insurance company will be highly encouraged;
  • Proactive and driven to achieve set targets and service standards;
  • Ability to lead a dynamic team and keen to develop others;
  • Comfortable speaking with clients, whether over the phone or in person;
  • General knowledge of different types of life insurance plans;
  • Good sense of Negotiation and Persuasion;
  • Good at maintaining contacts and networking;
  • Ability to work under pressure, accountable and proactive;
  • Excellent in English and Bangla oral and written communication.

Responsibilities & Context

Job Context: 

We are searching for a reliable, organized Business Coordination Officer- Bancassurance to join our organization. The Officers responsibilities include completing all assigned tasks, which may comprise, prospecting and closing of Bancassurance businesses to achieve set target, performing duties in different departments, gaining knowledge of operations, learning how to handle disputes, attending meetings and workshops, traveling to different location, providing support and suggestions for improvement, updating records, and preparing documentation. You should also be able to complete any required evaluations.

Responsibilities: 

  • To provide all tiers of sales support and establish strong relationships with designated bank partners.
  • Building relationships with the designated sales personnel of Banks
  • Drive sustainable growth of the assigned portfolio to achieve the set business target.
  • Execution of day-to-day Insurance operations at Bank, Branch/Regional level which entails new customer acquisition as well as follow up on renewals.
  • Champion the delivery of consistent, seamless, and trusted customer service to ensure customer retention and loyalty.
  • To assist bank staff in the designated region/Branch and ensure that such staff meet their individual targets of new business and renewal regularly.
  • Ensure customer inquiries are resolved promptly as per laid down policies and procedures.
  • Participate in Insurance Sales activation programs organized by Banks, Region, or Branch management in coordination with the Bancassurance Manager.
  • Ensure compliance, policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Daily reporting of business performance as per Key Performance Indicators Matrix.
  • Identify training needs and liaise with head office to ensure training calendar is developed.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on all Insurance transactions.
