Responsibilities & Context

  • Conduct thorough market research to identify new business opportunities and understand market trends.
  • Analyze competitors and develop strategies to stay ahead in the market.
  • Identify potential markets and target customers for handcrafted products.
  • Develop and implement business development strategies to increase market share and revenue.
  • Formulate strategic plans to expand the company’s customer base and improve market presence.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service.
  • Handle client queries and resolve issues promptly.
  • Lead the sales team to achieve sales targets and drive business growth.
  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns to promote handcrafted products.
  • Utilize digital marketing tools and social media platforms to enhance brand visibility.
  • Identify and establish partnerships with distributors, retailers, and other stakeholders.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and exhibitions to network and promote the company’s products.
  • Collaborate with the design and production teams to develop new products that meet market demand.
  • Provide feedback on product quality and suggest improvements based on market trends and customer feedback.
  • Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial reports related to business development activities.
  • Monitor financial performance and ensure cost-effective operations.
  • Ensure that all business development activities comply with industry regulations and company policies.
  • Handle legal and contractual matters related to business partnerships and client agreements.
  • Maintain accurate records of business development activities and client interactions.
  • Prepare regular reports on business development performance for senior management.
