Qualifications & Other Competencies:

Graduation or Post-Graduation in Commerce/MBA/BBA from any UGC approved local or reputable foreign universities;

At least 04 years of uninterrupted service experience in Retail Business, or related fields from reputed commercial banks;

Significant experience in a leadership role as Team Leader or similar managerial role;

Sound knowledge in Retail Banking products and services;

Strong customer orientation, a team player, and a commitment to developing others.

Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills; Strong self-motivation and drive; Planning and organizing; Adapting and responding to change.

Responsibilities & Context

Retail Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for achieving the individual retail business targets, as well as overseeing the targets of the officials (RM & Direct Sales) under their team. The BDM will supervise and manage the performance of direct sales (contractual) and permanent officials and ensure business risks are monitored effectively. Additionally, the BDM will be responsible for ensuring service excellence by enhancing the overall customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Achieve individual and team business targets and goals;
Manage and coordinate team members to ensure they meet their individual business targets and take appropriate actions to improve productivity;
Monitor individual targets, primarily in retail business, and other business targets according to set KPIs;
Plan effectively to achieve monthly, quarterly, and yearly targets;
Organize business meetings with prospective clients to explain product features and value propositions;
Ensure smooth and effective customer services towards the creation of loyal customers;
Organize and support business promotions (campaigns, presentations, seminars, exhibitions, etc.);
Explore the market for new business opportunities and report potential leads that align with the bank’s business policy;
Recommend retail business proposals to the competent authority;
Ensure proper distribution of tasks and responsibilities among team members;
Ensure timely submission of call reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis;
Continuously monitor and follow up with clients on compliance issues and ensure business covenants;
Perform any other tasks assigned by the competent authority of the bank.
