Responsibilities & Context
Job Summary:
DACHSER Bangladesh is hiring a dynamic Business Development Manager to drive sales growth and expand its market presence. The ideal candidate will possess deep logistics industry knowledge, a strong network in Bangladesh, and a proven track record in achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Revenue Generation:
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to grow DACHSER’s customer base in Bangladesh.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients to drive sales growth.
Client Acquisition & Relationship Management:
- Generate leads and convert prospects into clients through proactive sales efforts.
- Manage key client accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Act as a primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and resolving any issues promptly.
Market Research & Analysis:
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and market trends in Bangladesh.
- Analyze competitor activities and market intelligence to inform sales strategies.
Sales Presentations & Negotiations:
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals in line with company policies and procedures.
Collaboration & Coordination:
- Work closely with internal teams such as Products, Operations, and Customer Service to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Collaborate with the regional sales team to align local strategies with regional objectives.
Reporting & Documentation:
- Prepare regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and revenue forecasts.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system.
