Responsibilities & Context

We take pride in our craftsmanship and dedication to preserving traditional embroidery techniques while innovating with contemporary designs. Our products cater to a diverse clientele, including fashion designers, retailers, and individual customers seeking bespoke pieces.

  • We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Marketing and Sales Officer to join our team. This role involves developing and implementing sales strategies, enhancing brand visibility, and driving revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a passion for artisanal crafts, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in sales and marketing.
  • Market Research: Conduct comprehensive market research to identify emerging trends, potential clients, and lucrative business opportunities within the handicraft and eco-friendly product sectors. Analyze market data to inform strategic decisions and keep the company ahead of industry shifts.
  • Sales Strategy Development: Design and implement robust sales strategies aimed at achieving and surpassing company sales targets. Develop plans to expand the customer base and penetrate new markets effectively.
  • Client Acquisition: Identify, target, and engage potential clients, including retailers, wholesalers, and individual customers, with a focus on expanding our market reach. Develop and execute outreach strategies to convert leads into long-term clients.
  • Digital Marketing: Leverage extensive knowledge of digital marketing strategies, including online and social media marketing on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and e-commerce sites. Enhance product visibility and engagement through innovative digital campaigns.
  • B2B and B2C Sales: Develop and manage both Business-to-Business (B2B) and Business-to-Consumer (B2C) sales channels. Tailor sales approaches to different market segments to maximize revenue and market penetration.
  • Relationship Management: Cultivate and sustain strong, long-lasting relationships with existing and prospective clients to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty. Regularly engage with clients to understand their needs and address any issues promptly.
  • Product Promotion: Strategically promote our product range through diverse channels, including social media, exhibitions, trade shows, and online platforms. Develop promotional materials and campaigns to maximize product visibility and drive sales.
  • Negotiation and Deal Closure: Skillfully negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts with clients to secure successful deals. Ensure mutually beneficial agreements that foster long-term business relationships.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with the design and production teams to ensure product availability, uphold quality standards, and develop effective marketing campaigns. Coordinate with various departments to align sales strategies with overall business goals.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare detailed reports on sales activities, client feedback, and market trends for senior management. Use data-driven insights to inform strategic decisions and improve sales performance continuously.
