Responsibilities & Context

Job Context:

Project Name: Promoting Climate Resilient Community in Bangladesh (PCRCB): Phase II Project.

Project Summary: PCRCB-Phase-2 Project is being implemented to enhance their resilience by focusing on (i) Reducing climate risk at community level through awareness raising, agricultural/water/structural adaptation efforts, skill development and less vulnerable AIGA support (ii) Capacity development of the local community organization for their sustainability and (iii) scaling up the resilience building approach

Role of the Position: The Business Development Officer role is critical for supporting CCRC’s growth strategy and expanding business opportunities. This position will play a key role in fundraising, stakeholder engagement, market linkage, and the successful implementation of business initiatives.

Job Responsibilities:

• Identify new business opportunities, funding sources, and strategic partnerships for community-based organizations.
• Conduct market research to analyze business trends and strengthen business linkages.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and Community-based organizations.
• Develop and implement marketing and sales strategies to drive business growth.
• Assess the progress of business development initiatives and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
• Support the development and execution of marketing strategies and promotional campaigns.
• Monitor and track business performance, providing regular reports to management.
