Responsibilities & Context
- Conducting thorough financial analysis to support business decisions, including but not limited to revenue analysis, cost analysis, profitability analysis, and financial forecasting.
- Assisting in the development of annual budgets and forecasts, monitoring performance against budgetary targets, and providing variance analysis.
- Gathering, interpreting, and analyzing financial data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform strategic decision-making.
- Developing and maintaining financial models to assess the financial impact of different scenarios, investments, or strategic initiatives.
- Preparing and presenting financial reports and dashboards to stakeholders, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs), financial metrics, and actionable insights.
- Identifying financial risks and opportunities, evaluating their potential impact on the business, and recommending risk mitigation strategies.
- Contributing to the development of business plans, strategic initiatives, and investment proposals by providing financial analysis and insights.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide financial analysis and insights that support decision-making processes, such as pricing strategies, product development, and market expansion.
- Conducting ad hoc analysis and research projects as requested by senior management to address specific business questions or challenges.
