Responsibilities & Context

Mayapur Studios (a sister concern of Ogopogo Studios) is a growing animation studio focused on creating vibrant, meaningful, and culturally rich 2D animated content for children. With exciting original IPs in development and production, we’re looking for a passionate and driven Business Manager to join our leadership team and help take our studio to the next level.We’re seeking someone to oversee day-to-day operations, manage communication between departments, and support our marketing and sales strategies. You’ll play a critical role in aligning business direction with creative goals, ensuring that projects are delivered efficiently and professionally.

Responsibilities:

• Manage overall studio operations and production pipelines. Specifically you will make sure our team of animators are hitting their daily and week goals.
• Coordinate communication across creative, production, and admin departments.
• Support marketing, sales, and distribution strategiesBuild and maintain relationships with partners, distributors and vendors Track budgets, resources, and project timelines;
• Assist with pitches, proposals, and business development;
• Coordinate with legal, finance, and HR as needed.
• Hire any employees needed
• Organize events and activation with sponsors
• Some basic video editing would be a plus but not mandatory.

• 3+ years of experience in business management, operations, or production roles.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• 3+ years’ of relevant work experience: team management
• General business skills including budget preparation, staff development, and training
• Requires reasoning ability and good independent judgment
• Knowledge of animation is a plus
• Fluent in English and Bangla
