Responsibilities & Context

• Discussing the base design with the Production team;
• Meeting the customer’s technicians to determine their design requirements.
• To design patterns for various items such as all kinds of woven tops & Bottoms;
• Suggesting improvements in the existing designs;
• Examine sketches and sample patterns;
• Determining pattern quantities, shapes, and sizes; Providing sewing instructions to the operator;
• To Minimize fabric wastage;
• Makes the basic sizes pattern by using Auto CAD ( Garber software)
• Creating new patterns & their customization, marker making & grading
• Must have sufficient technical knowledge to make Manual patterns & markers.
• To prepare patterns as per the requirement given by the buyer through the merchandiser and ensure timely delivery of patterns.
