Responsibilities & Context
- Discussing the base design with the Production team;
- Meeting the customer’s technicians to determine their design requirements.
- To design patterns for various items such as all kinds of woven tops & Bottoms;
- Suggesting improvements in the existing designs;
- Examine sketches and sample patterns;
- Determining pattern quantities, shapes, and sizes; Providing sewing instructions to the operator;
- To Minimize fabric wastage;
- Makes the basic sizes pattern by using Auto CAD ( Garber software)
- Creating new patterns & their customization, marker making & grading
- Must have sufficient technical knowledge to make Manual patterns & markers.
- To prepare patterns as per the requirement given by the buyer through the merchandiser and ensure timely delivery of patterns.
