Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor/Honors, Masters
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field is preferred. However, candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in any field will also be considered.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing social media campaigns and working with various media channels will get preference.

Experience

a) Proficiency in media planning and buying tools (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager).

Responsibilities & Context

Job Summary:

The Campaign Planner & Social Media Buyer will be responsible for strategizing, planning, and executing media campaigns that meet the company’s marketing objectives. This position requires a deep understanding of the media landscape in Bangladesh, strong analytical skills, and the ability to negotiate and manage media buys effectively, including expertise in social media advertising platforms.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Campaign Planning:

a) Develop detailed media plans based on thorough market research and audience insights.

b) Align media plans with the company’s overall marketing strategy and goals.

c) Identify and select appropriate media channels to reach target audiences effectively.

 

Social Media Buying:

a) Negotiate media space and time purchases across digital, print, TV, radio, outdoor platforms, and social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Meta, and Google Ads.

b) Manage advertising budgets and ensure optimal allocation of resources.

c) Build and maintain relationships with media vendors and partners to secure the best rates and placements.

d) Conduct A/B testing to optimize ad performance.

e) Monitor social media campaign performance metrics and generate insights.

f) Recreate and adjust campaign tools based on performance reports and data analysis.

 

Campaign Management:

a) Oversee the implementation and execution of media campaigns.

b) Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics to assess effectiveness.

c) Optimize campaigns in real-time to improve performance and return on investment (ROI).

 

Collaboration and Communication:

a. Work with creative teams to develop compelling and effective ad content.

b. Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure campaign coherence and integration.

c. Provide regular performance reports and insights to the marketing team and senior management.

 

Market Research and Analysis:

a) Stay informed about industry trends, emerging media channels, and competitive activities.

b) Conduct competitive analyses to identify market opportunities and threats.
