I. Job Summary:

- CARE Bangladesh, a non-profit international development organization, seeks to hire three Capacity Building Officer – Finance, Procurement, and Compliance for a five-year USAID-funded Bijoyee project that aims to strengthen more effective, inclusive, locally led development by and with Bangladeshi youth as core participants and decision-makers. This will be achieved through three objectives: 1) Promote equitable access to economic opportunities, 2) Strengthen youth leadership through targeted support of local youth-led and youth-serving organizations in order to promote youth participation as decision makers and key contributors to individual, household, community, and national well-being and 3) Strengthen youth systems, in partnership with youth, to provide more coordinated and effective services, practices, and policies that embody the principles of Positive Youth Development (PYD).
- CARE Bangladesh is hiring for the role of Capacity Building Officer – Finance, Procurement, and Compliance for this project. The Capacity Building Officer – Finance, Procurement, and Compliance will be based at the partners hub (Dhaka & Chattogram) and reports to the Capacity Building Manager-Finance, procurement, and Compliance. S/he is responsible for reviewing partner organization bills and vouchers, finding the gaps and support for rectifications, sharing standard practices for robust financial systems, providing hands-on support to Finance & operations staff of partner organizations, reviewing and monitoring small grants/youth future grants facilities, and strengthening financial systems. The incumbent will be responsible for supporting partners following USAID standard policies and procedures and reviewing and verifying the financial reports of each partner.
