Qualifications:

High Secondary school (HSC) or equivalent; relevant vocational training or certifications are a plus.
Proven experience in building maintenance or a similar role.
Basic knowledge of building systems and maintenance procedures.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle a variety of maintenance tasks.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and carrying.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine inspections of the building and grounds to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards.
Conduct minor repairs and maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work.
Oversee and coordinate the work of external contractors and maintenance personnel.
Maintain cleanliness of common areas, including hallways, lobbies, stairwells, and restrooms.
Ensure building systems such as heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) are functioning properly.
Respond to tenant requests and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
Manage building supplies and inventory, including ordering and restocking as needed.
Implement and enforce building policies and procedures.
Assist with move-ins and move-outs, including cleaning and preparing units.
Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
