Responsibilities & Context

Job Context:

The role is primarily responsible for accurately and efficiently processing and recording routine transactions for customers including cheque deposit and encashment, cash deposit and withdrawals, money transfers etc. The incumbents are also responsible for detecting and preventing false transactions and ensuring faster counter service to customers as well as promoting and advising customers on the bank’s products and services.

Job Responsibilities:

• Handle all sort of customer cash/ cheque related transaction with accuracy and efficiency.
• Receiving & payment of Cash.
• Selling & purchasing of prize bond.
• Ensuring faster transaction with accuracy to maintain appropriate queue management.
• Clearing cheque related assigned job.
• Input clearing cheque information into software (if required).
• Act as clearing house representative.
• Promote and advise customers on products and services of the bank.
• Cross selling/reference of retail banking products to counter customers.
