Responsibilities & Context

Forecast fashion trends and colors, analyze trends, and plan for the season/project.
Research regular product lines, analyze the market, follow global trends, and incorporate patterns and ideas into work.
Manage and source fabric, trims, and accessories in collaboration with the team.
Conduct weekly meetings with the team to distribute tasks among team members.
Develop design concepts and create sketches or prototypes for new collections.
Oversee the entire design process from conception to final styling.
Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to ensure designs align with brand strategy and market demands.
Ensure all designs meet quality standards and are produced within budget and timelines.
Coordinate with production teams to ensure accurate translation of design specifications.
Stay updated on industry developments and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.
Mentor and provide guidance to junior designers and interns.
