Requirements

Education

Master’s in any discipline or BSc in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology or a related field from reputed University with no third division in academic records.

Additional Requirements

02 – 05 years working experience in commercial Bank/NBFI in relevant area or experience in CBS operations in a reputed software firm.
Knowledge on banking business process is preferable.
Working experience with CBS (Finacle/UBS/Temenos) script development and customization will be given priority.
Excellent knowledge in MS Office.
Smart, Team player, paired with agile mindset and can-do attitude.
Good communication skill in Bangla and English.

Job Grade: Officer to Principal Officer

Responsibilities:

Providing first level Core Application operational support to the Branches as well as Head Office.
Understand the business requirements and goals of the product, and align them with the needs of the target market and customers.
Recommend improvements to existing CBS (Finacle) technical & business processes to meet the Bank’s requirements.
Translate the business needs and Requirement Specifications into Design Specifications.
Determine root cause for the most complex software issues and develop practical, efficient, and permanent technical solutions.
Monitor and manage EOD/BOD activities, batch jobs, scheduled jobs, interest calculation jobs etc.
Manage, communicate and follow-up with CBS vendors to ensure quick fixes of product related bugs/issues/changes.
Sound knowledge and understanding of Bangladesh Bank’s i. Guideline on ICT Security (Version 4.0 2023), ii. Guidelines on Core Banking Solution (CBS) Features and Controls (Version 2.0 May’2024), and iii. other relevant policies and circulars.
Conducting UAT and assisting UAT Members in doing UAT before deployment of any new module or update or fixation in production.
Maintenance and follow-up of UAT Error Log.
Work in close partnership with cross-functional teams and management.
