Requirements
Education
- The candidate must have Graduate (B.S.C in Agriculture – Agronomy/ Crop Botany/ Entomology/ Agriculture Economics will be given preference) with minimum CGPA 2.50 or 2nd class/ division or equivalent result in all academic examinations
Experience
- At least 2 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Manufacturing (FMCG), Retail Store, Agro based firms (incl. Agro Processing/Seed/GM), Packaging Industry, Fisheries, Livestock, Dairy, Healthcare/Lifestyle product - Freshers are also encouraged to apply.
Additional Requirements
- Age, Education and Experience will be relaxed for the potential Candidates
- Knowledge on Mulberry cultivation, sericulture farm management, Silkworm rearing, season wise rearing techniques
- Required skills: Seed cocoon production, microscopic testing for pebrine disease identification and silkworm egg production
- Required competencies: Microscopic testing, quality DFL (silkworm egg) production
- Excellent in report writing, budgeting, people management, work prioritization, time management as well as the ability to adapt to work under pressure and challenging environment
Responsibilities & Context
- Ensure Mulberry Garden maintenance, mulberry leaves production, Silkworm rearing and Cocoon production
- Maintain disinfection and silkworm disease control
- Supervise the staff and labor, look after their productivity and minimize the cost
- Manage Office, Land, Farm and safe guarding issues as per policy
- Preserve Office documents
- Prepare different report, monthly Accounts and share with the management
- Maintain the liaison and communication with BDP office and Sericulture Enterprise management
- Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
- Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
- Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so
- Perform any other jobs as assigned by the management
