Responsibilities & Context

  • Prepare a wide range of café-style food items, ensuring consistency in taste, quality, and presentation according to standardized recipes.
  • Expertly prepare sandwiches, club sandwiches, grilled sandwiches, paninis, burgers, wraps, and other fast-casual menu items.
  • Cook a variety of pasta dishes, including cream-based pasta, maintaining authentic flavor and proper cooking techniques.
  • Prepare breakfast and brunch menu items such as omelets, scrambled eggs, poached eggs, pancakes, French toast, and complete breakfast platters.
  • Prepare appetizers and snacks including French fries, loaded fries, chicken wings, chicken strips, garlic bread, and similar light meals.
  • Prepare fresh salads including Greek salad, garden salad, and chicken salad using high-quality ingredients and proper food handling practices.
  • Cook soups such as cream of mushroom, chicken soup, and vegetable soup while maintaining consistency in taste and texture.
  • Ensure all food is prepared, cooked, and served in accordance with company recipes, quality standards, and customer expectations.
  • Monitor food quality, portion control, freshness, and presentation before serving.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation throughout the kitchen, workstations, utensils, and equipment in compliance with food safety regulations.
  • Store, label, and rotate food ingredients properly following FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures.
  • Monitor kitchen inventory, minimize food waste, and report stock shortages to management.
  • Ensure proper storage of raw materials, dairy products, meats, vegetables, and frozen items to maintain freshness and food safety.
  • Coordinate closely with café service staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of customer orders.
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene, personal grooming, and workplace safety at all times.
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and perform routine cleaning and maintenance.
  • Assist in menu improvement and suggest new café-style dishes based on customer demand and seasonal ingredients.
  • Follow all company policies, HACCP guidelines, and food safety standards.
  • Work efficiently under pressure during busy service hours while maintaining food quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Support team members to ensure smooth daily kitchen operations and excellent customer service.
