Responsibilities & Context
Chef/Cook (Continental, Fry, Naan-Kebab & Bakery)
We are seeking various skilled and experienced Chef/Cook for our FoodExpo (Restaurant) at the Expotech outlet, Bogura. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in preparing a variety of dishes across multiple cuisines, including Continental, Fry, Naan-Kebab and Bakery items. As a chef, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of food preparation, presentation and hygiene, while ensuring timely service and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities (Continental Cook):
- Prepare a wide variety of continental dishes, including appetizers, main courses, and desserts.
- Ensure high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Assist in menu planning and recipe development.
Responsibilities (Fry Cook) :
- Prepare fried dishes, including appetizers, main courses, and sides.
- Operate fryers and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Ensure that food items are cooked to the correct temperature and consistency.
- Maintain a clean and organized cooking area.
Responsibilities (Naan-Kebab Cook):
- Prepare and cook a variety of naan bread and kebabs.
- Utilize traditional cooking methods to achieve authentic flavors.
- Manage the tandoor oven and other specialized equipment.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the cooking area.
Responsibilities (Bakery Cook) :
- Prepare a range of baked goods, including bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies.
- Follow recipes and measure ingredients to create consistent products.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery area.
- Monitor inventory and order baking supplies as needed.
