Job Context
We are seeking an experienced and professional Chef / Cook who can maintain the highest standards of food quality, hygiene, presentation, and confidentiality while serving the Board of Directors and special guests.
The ideal candidate should have excellent culinary skills, strong discipline, and the ability to work in a high-standard corporate environment with flexible timings.
Responsibilities & Context:
- Prepare and serve high-quality meals for the Board of Directors and VIP guests
- Ensure food taste, quality, and presentation meet VIP standards
- Plan menus based on the preferences of management and special guests
- Prepare Bangladeshi, Continental, and basic international cuisine
- Maintain strict hygiene and cleanliness in the VIP kitchen area
- Follow all food safety standards and proper handling procedures
- Ensure timely preparation and serving of meals as per schedule
- Maintain professionalism and confidentiality while serving VIP personnel
Monitor and maintain stock of:
- Food items
- Groceries
- Kitchen supplies
- Coordinate with Admin for purchasing and replenishment of kitchen items
Ensure proper storage of food items:
- Dry
- Chilled
- Frozen
- Minimize food wastage and ensure efficient use of resources
- Clean kitchen utensils, equipment, and work areas regularly
- Assist in arranging special meals for meetings, events, and VIP visits
- Ensure kitchen equipment is used safely and maintained properly
