Monitor plating bath parameters, including pH, temperature, and chemical concentrations.
Conduct regular maintenance and replenishment of plating solutions.
Ensure proper surface preparation and coating thickness in accordance with specifications.
Perform routine chemical analysis of plating baths (e.g., titration, spectrophotometry).
Conduct adhesion, corrosion resistance, and coating thickness tests.
Identify and rectify plating defects such as pitting, peeling, or discoloration.
Maintain accurate records of test results and plating performance.
Conduct laboratory tests, experiments, and analyses according to standard procedures.
Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Prepare chemical solutions, reagents, and samples for testing and research purposes.
Ensure proper documentation of all test results, procedures, and findings.
Implement and monitor safety protocols, including proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials.
Maintain an inventory of laboratory supplies and ensure timely procurement.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality control standards.
Collaborate with other departments for interdisciplinary research and operational support.
