Responsibilities & Context
- To have clear job knowledge in accomplishing Chemical dosing activities of Biological ETP.
- To conduct jar tests to determine optimal chemical dosages for wastewater treatment.
- Analyzing the quality of incoming ETP chemicals to ensure compliance.
- To ensure compliance with environmental regulations (DoE, ZDHC) and buyer’s requirement.
- To ensure accurate dosing of biological ETP chemicals based on required treatment and jar test results.
- To have knowledge on performing routine laboratory tests to analyze water quality parameters (pH, TDS, TSS, BOD, COD, etc.).
- To maintain detail lab test logs and water treatment records.
- To track water treatment and chemical costs with seeking optimization opportunities.
- Monitoring and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to ETP operations.
- To identify, address & report to the authority on any operational issues with the ETP.
- Proactively identify and implement improvements to ETP processes and performance if any.
- Any other job as assigned by the department head.
