Job Purpose:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) to lead our real estate operations. The CCO will be responsible for driving the company’s commercial strategy, overseeing sales, marketing, and customer service initiatives, and ensuring the achievement of revenue targets. This role requires a visionary leader with a deep understanding of the real estate market, strong business acumen, and a proven track record in both residential and commercial real estate.

The CCO will develop and implement best-in-class commercial strategies across all verticals—Marketing, Sales, and Customer Service—in alignment with our business vision and objectives. Responsibilities include end-to-end oversight of commercial operations, successful GTM strategy implementation, market penetration, and revenue stream enhancement. The role encompasses market analysis and research, value proposition strategy, product and pricing strategy, branding, customer relationship management, partnerships, financial planning, performance management, risk management, and innovation. The CCO will ensure the company’s competitive position and drive revenue growth, increasing market share in existing and new markets.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a go-to-market (GTM) strategy by aligning all goals and objectives of the concerned functions – Marketing, Sales & Customer Service.
  • Have a bird’s eye view of the sales mechanism of the entire sales value chain.
  • Formulate strategy, plan, forecast, and ensure cross-functional collaboration and support.
  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing commercial team by fostering a collaborative and results-driven work environment in collaboration with cross-functional departments with C-suites, namely CHRO, CFO, CTO, and Director PMO.
  • Oversee the sales department, which will include several omnichannel solutions, and ensure that the revenue targets are being met on a regular basis.
  • Identifying new markets develop strategic partnerships and alliances to continuously grow and achieve sales targets across local and international markets.
  • Lead the market research and analysis team to stay informed about industry trends and competitors and data-driven insights to inform commercial strategies and decision-making.
  • In close collaboration with the sales personnel, develop sales strategies to penetrate new markets and increase revenue streams in existing markets.
  • Leading the marketing department to ensure that they are effectively carrying out their activities, campaigns, and communications through consistent messaging and branding across all marketing channels.
  • Creating customer satisfaction throughout the entire customer experience journey by maintaining a cohesive relationship between marketing, sales, and customer service.
  • Implement a unified approach to all revenue generation functions, including sales, customer service, pricing, and revenue management.
  • Responsible for beyond sales and revenue, which includes market positioning, product development, strategic partnership, and customer service.
  • Eliminate silos and remove redundancies, ensuring different functions are promoting synergy.
  • Ensuring that all ROIs are being met across all commercial functions of the organization.
  • Develop and implement KPIs to measure overall commercial performance across all its verticals.
  • Use analytics and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of commercial initiatives and make necessary adjustments.
  • Ensuring that the commercial strategies align with the overall goals and vision of the organization’s business strategy.
  • Based on the board’s valuable feedback and guidance on strategic initiatives, refine and improve commercial strategies across marketing, sales, and customer service verticals.

Education:

Bachelors/Masters degree in Business from a reputed university.

Experience:

  • Proven track record of at least 20 years in leading the Marketing, Sales, and Customer Service Departments of top-tier real estate organizations in Bangladesh.
  • Strong demonstrable experience in planning and executing commercial strategies across marketing, sales, and customer service verticals.
  • Extensive experience in market research, product positioning, building strategic partnerships, and ensuring ROI’s across all commercial verticals.
  • Experience in implementing KPIs to measure overall commercial performance, leading large cross-functional teams, and directly working with the board of directors of organizations.

Competencies:

We are seeking a visionary Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) with a deep understanding of the real estate value chain, strong business acumen, and proven experience in driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Extensive Experience: Minimum of 20 years in sales, marketing, or business development, with significant senior leadership experience in the real estate industry.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Proven ability to lead, mentor, and motivate large teams across sales, marketing, and customer service to achieve high performance.
  • Strategic and Analytical Skills: Expertise in developing and implementing commercial strategies, identifying market opportunities, and making data-driven decisions.
  • Customer-Centric Approach: Demonstrated success in creating and implementing customer-focused strategies and building strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Finance, or related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
